Meet Amy
Amy began dancing at the age of 3 with Iris Haslam School of Dance then at the age of 16 went to train at Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama. She went on to work professionally for a number of years before taking her first IDTA teaching exam and has been teaching for over 10 years in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.
Miss Amy is a Licentiate member of the IDTA and holds a number of teaching qualifications with the IDTA in both Ballroom and Theatre Dance styles.
Amy owns a babyballet franchise (babyballet Loughborough, Long Eaton & Melton Mowbray).

Level 2 exercise to music
PBT certificate
RAD Silver Swans Licencee
Tai Chi teacher (Wudang Style)
Amy also hold a current DBS, a Level 3 safeguarding certificate and is first aid trained.
About our school
Move Academy of Performing Arts offers a wide variety of dance classes for both children and adults, from beginners to advanced level including Level 3 & 4 teacher training.
All teachers are qualified with the IDTA and hold a current DBS, safeguarding certificate and are first aid trained.
We work towards IDTA examinations and offer performance opportunities throughout the year and all classes are run in a fun, friendly and safe environment.
